Welcome to Hartshill School

Mr M GarlickI hope that you will find our extensive website an exciting and informative tool in exploring our vision and high expectations for our students, their parents, school staff and the local community.

Hartshill School is an exciting and challenging place to be! Our dedicated and experienced staff are creative, friendly and passionate about raising standards. We know that ‘every child matters’ and personalise our approach to ensure that each child is thoroughly supported through their time here.

Our main aim is to ensure that every child leaves Hartshill School having reached his or her academic potential and is a mature and positive citizen who can contribute effectively to society.

We are very proud of our recent examination success, proving that as a united team we can achieve our school motto ‘No goal is beyond us’. Our students have just delivered the best examination results in the school’s history following many years of hard work and we wish them the very best as they go into further education or the world of work.

We are also pleased to have a full entry in our current year 7 which bucks the national trend, showing that Hartshill School is a popular choice for parents to send their children. Our recent designation as a specialist Science and Arts College also provides an exciting platform with which to reach for even greater heights!

Whilst we celebrate our recent successes we continue to drive forward with our determination to provide the very best learning opportunities for our students supported by the highest standards of teaching and additional support.

I am immensely proud to be leading this thriving school community and look forward to working with you in our mission to be ‘outstanding’ in everything we do!
