Tim Render - Chair
A chartered public finance accountant and a trained town planner, Tim retired as Director of Finance for a major local authority in 2008. He now works occassionally as a consultant in finance and governance, and holds a number of non-executive roles. He is also the independent chair of the audit committees at North East Lincolnshire Council and North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group. Tim is a trustee and non-executive director in the public and private sector of various local charities including CAB, Food Bank and Worklink.
Tim is Chair of the MAT Board of Directors as well as Chair of the George Eliot School RAB.
Shelia Passey (Parent Member)
Shelia has been a Governor since May 2013, having previously been a Parent Governor at a primary school in Coventry.
Sheila is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and joined the RAB as she understands the importance of a good education and wanted to play a part in the running of the school which her daughters attend to ensure the best outcomes for them and all of the children in the area.
Shelia is a Director of her own company Web hosting and graphic design .She has over 20 years industrial experience and is a professional communicator (Public Relations, Community and Internal). She went through the education system to university, and is a trained facilitator and good at problem solving and likes to see everyone treated fairly. Her hobbies include reading, graphic design and arts and crafts.
