School Uniform

SCHOOL UNIFORM & EQUIPMENT

Students are expected to take pride in wearing our uniform and a high standard of personal appearance is looked for. Staff members do not expect to have to take time away from teaching to speak to pupils about incorrect or badly worn uniform.

The main uniform has only the blazer, skirt and tie that is specific to the school.  All other uniform items can be purchased from anywhere that you choose so long as it complies with the listings below:

Boys:

School blazer (to be brought to school at all times)
White long or short sleeved shirt
School tie in college colours
Black v-neck jumper (optional)
Plain black tailored formal trousers (no jean, cord material)
Black socks
Plain black shoes
Hair should be of a normal colour (no extreme colours) and should be free of any tramlines. No skin heads or a cut of less than a number 3 shave.
Jewellery should be limited to one small stud in each ear and no facial piercings. Other than a watch no other jewellery should be worn. One charity band may be worn upon the wrist. 

Girls:

School blazer (to be brought to school at all times)
White long or short sleeved blouse that can button to the neck
School tie in college colours
Black v-neck jumper (optional)
Plain black tailored trousers (no jean, cord material or tight fitting trousers such as skinny or leggings) or a black skirt that is no shorter than 3 inches above the knee.  Skirts are available to purchase with the school logo on.
Black socks or sensible tights
Plain black shoes

Other:

Ready to Learn (Knowledge Organisers) for Y7 - Y10 must be brought to school everyday.

Ready to Revise (Revision Folders) for Y11 must be brought to school every day.

School bag:  All students should have an appropriately sized school bag to hold books, PE kit, stationery etc. 
All students should bring their school planner each day and appropriate stationery, including pens, pencils, a ruler, an eraser, a compass and a protractor.

Please DO NOT bring craft knives or correction fluid (Tipp-Ex) into school.

Please ensure you mark all school equipment / kit with your name!
